Small Talk Creative CIC is looking for new Directors to join its board.

​

We’re a community-focused creative organisation based in Lincoln and working nationally. We support ambitious new work by embedding access, co-creation and community engagement into creative development from the very start. Small Talk Creative CIC supports and governs the community-facing work that underpins the creative output of Small Talk Productions Ltd.

​

We’re at an early stage, which means this is a genuine opportunity to help shape an organisation from the ground up. We’re keen to hear from people who are curious, thoughtful and interested in values-led work. You don’t need previous board experience - we’re more interested in perspective, judgement and care than titles.

​

What’s involved

• Around four board meetings per year

• A light-touch governance role (not delivery or artistic decision-making)

• Helping support good practice around transparency, accountability and community benefit

• This is an unpaid role, but reasonable expenses can be covered.
